Dear EKVD; letter #1

I promised you that I would do this at least once every two weeks, and since the damn snow has given me extra time on hw, I think I shall take advantage! It’s been a week already haha and I honestly feel like you’re just out of state. Sometimes I even feel like you’re still here in Seattle and that we’re just too busy to see each other. So basically it really hasn’t hit me yet that you’re gonna be in Japan for the next six months.

However, last night kind of got to me because of the snow. Ever since I was in elementary and you were in middle school, the presence of snow has always been an instant reminder of you and those moments we shared while living down the hall from one another. Ever since you’ve moved here we’ve always been a couple steps away from each other, which was especially great on snow days because we had each other :) I remember when I moved to Shoreline the first winter hit me hard cause we were no longer down the hall from one another, but 10 minutes!! It sucked cause we were snowed in and had nothing to do! And now look! I be getting 5 inches of snow in Shoreline and where the hell are you?! In Japan -__- So yes, although I don’t really miss you too much quite yet, this snow is starting to push me towards that point. However, I am so proud of you mama! For taking the opportunity to stay in Japan and not only help Ate Ann out, but to use the time to focus on yourself and who you are. I love you and I know that the whole process of focusing on yourself will have great results because you’re a really good person. This is getting too corny for my Tumblr followers so iloveyoukaybye!
